Well, we’re not suspected criminals (yet,) but our minds are dangerous enough. The Rogues Gallery Writers are a small group of four very inspired and talented writers that I’ve been a part of for the past three years.

Collectively and individually, the Rogues are accomplishing their dreams. Michael Ray King and Tracy McDurmon have published Loves Lost and Found, a remarkable collection of Mike’s poetry with artwork that Tracy custom painted for each poem. Mike has also published Fatherhood 101: Bonding Tips for Building Loving Relationships. Rebekah Hunter Scott has recently published Motherhood is Easy…as long as you have nothing else to do for the next 50 years… This very personal, yet humorous, peek into Rebekah’s life as a wife and a full-time mother of two young children has been earning great reviews and catching a lot of attention.

All three of these books can be found at:

On my own, I’ve ghostwritten a Holocaust memoir for Rabbi Samuel Cywiak of St. Augustine, titled Flight from Fear: A Rabbi’s Holocaust Survival Story. It is due to be released in September by Bayou Printing, in time for the Jewish New Year.

Although most of the above works are non-fiction, the Rogues are preparing to release a collection of masterful fiction. In a couple weeks, our short story collaboration, Writing Is Easy, will be released by ClearView Press Inc. The title and concept were taken from various quotes on writing, essentially stating that writing is easy, all you have to do is open a vein and let your blood flow onto the page. I believe our book cover, brilliantly illustrated by Tracy McDurmon, more than captures this philosophy.

More than a short story collection, Writing is Easy is also directed at other writers and writers groups. We describe how the Rogues were formed, what the group means to each of us, and every story contains a section explaining the inspiration behind it followed by a Q&A segment that covers deeper aspects of the piece. This is meant to inspire other authors, especially those who are struggling and wonder if their works will ever see the light of day. We intend to prove how important writers groups are and what a great group can achieve when working together as a team. If we can be published (both as a group and as solo artists,) than so can you.

Writing is Easy is now available for preorder on my website under the Bookstore section: Upon release, it will also be available for order at ClearView Press Inc’s bookstore, as well as,, and Personally and financially speaking, I would prefer that you order via my website. 🙂
